Answers to people comments about the Light Painting App.

We've received lotta comments for the app in several languages. After some google translations and interpretations here's what we've got to say. We've got a lot more comments but we think these are the most "inspiring"...

... funktioniert nicht (HTC-Desire@Froyo)

Sorry for those with a Desire. We've tested the app in one of those (I think it was a Froyo one) and worked perfectly. We've got few devices and the adverts you see on the screen haven't even paid our Android market account so we can't test on all the devices in the market :(

Notice that the device "simulators" are not as acurate and fast as the final thing, you can only test that the application can be viewed with the given screen size.

Great idea...i have the moto droid. Only problem is the bottom buttons below the touch screen stay lit. It shows up in picks. Still great app

Sorry again, but this time we're not guilty!! :). There's no way in the Android API to turn off the button lights. tried duct tape? haha

We love it too and we'd love too!!
Some comments give us a link to a video with an iPad rendering 3d text by caps. We've tested out some things that may do the thing (orsomethinglikethat) but won't be in the market soon. We're busy in some other developments...

I dont get it at all

This is not a game, it's a tool. It's a very specific tool for a very specific, fun and creative task we love and we have fun with. Only one star from several of these comments of those people who don't get it at all. The Pigdroid is sad :(

Makes some awesome photos but a little tricky to get the settings right firt few uses

Yep! we use some configs for a camera, some for another, some for an exposition time... It's a bit exasperating. But we have fun in the meantime ^^

Works on x10 but a pointless app

It works and we never thought ever existed that phone!... And you give us a single star. The Pigdroid is sad :(

Why does it require gps

We'll remove that permision in a future release. We tried to have the most advert hits by using the phone location. There's more hits but it's a worthless effort. We havent reached $10 yet.

Sehr schwach HTC legend

Emmh... think it does not work on a HTC Legend.
Sorry to hear that, we haven't tested on that phone, we haven't got any of those.

Costó encontrarlo y cumple con lo esperado!! Pero las letras no llenan la pantalla. Salu2-GZ

He says it's been hard to find this app but it's worth the travel!! ^^. The Pigdroid is glaaaaad...
But characters don't fit in the screen... We know it. The API we use may not be the best (should be using OpenGL) but we paint the bigger characters the API supports.

We're on this but not be in the market anytime soon. Sorry.

Doesn't work on my EVO. Brush only appears after I hit the back button.

Damn sad! Sorry to hear. We don't have an EVO. It's the first headsup on this bug... Have you tried pressing the volume controls?

The light will turn off in 5 sec. Even still pressing the bottom. Can you try to fix it? Samsung galaxy S

Sorry to hear that. We may have a Galaxy S some months from now (or not) and will give it a try. We request to the operative system that the screen don't go off while light painting but your configuration may interact with our code. Have you tried to check the phone settings and set the screen to never fade?
